Hands-on Heart & Lung Anatomy Lab

When specimens are available, students participate in a unique anatomy experience using porcine hearts and lungs to better understand cardiac and respiratory anatomy.

​

This educational lab is often supported by members of a local medical school's cardiology student organization, giving students an engaging opportunity to connect anatomy with patient care.

Do You need Financial Assistance?

Idaho CPR Plus is an approved training facility with Idaho LAUNCH.  To learn more and to see if you qualify for funding a portion of your class paid for, click on the link below to start your application process (this link will take you to the Idaho Department of Labor Website).  If you do not qualify for LAUNCH funds, then payment plans are available.

EMT Program FAQ​

How do I enroll in the EMT Courses?

• Step 1: Fill out the EMT pre-app form (click on the Pre-Qualify Here button at bottom of the page)

• Step 2: If approved, you will receive an acceptance email with an attached EMT Program Student Handbook. This will have to be thoroughly read and understood. You will then sign and submit the Student Statement of Understanding and Responsibilities Agreement page to jackie@idahocprplus.com

• Step 3: You will be emailed the class registration link where you will pay tuition or the “secure your seat and registration” fee.

Do you have a waitlist if the class is full?

Yes. If a registered student withdraws from the course before the first day of class, we will notify those on the waitlist for a spot in the class on a first serve basis. You must fill out and submit the EMT pre-form (link is the button at the bottom of the page) to be added to the waitlist.

If your pre-application is approved, you will receive the EMT Program Student Handbook that will detail important information about the course including content, course requirements, refund policy, etc. If you still have questions, you may email info@idahocprplus.com

What forms of payment can I use?

We accept cash, credit or debit card, personal check, cashier’s check or money order. Payment plans can be arranged on the first day of class. Detailed information regarding registration fee and course fees will be in the student handbook after acceptance into the program. You must sign and submit the Student Statement of Understanding and Responsibilities Agreement page prior to paying for the course.

Is financial aid available?

Yes.  We are approved program for Idaho Department of Labor Launch Funding.  You may contact them to fill out an application and to see if you qualify - Idaho Launch.  Another option is to see if your bank or credit union will offer a private loan option.  You can also conduct an online search for EMT scholarship opportunities. 

​

Do you accept VA/GI bill money?

Not at this time.

 

What are the prerequisites for this course?

You must be 17 years of age on the first day of class for EMT-B. You must also fill out and submit the pre-qualification form for approval and entry to the program.  You must have a current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first 2 weeks of class. If accepted into our program, you will receive a discount code for one of our regularly scheduled BLS classes if you choose to certify through Idaho CPR Plus.

 

What is your refund/cancellation policy?

You will receive the refund/cancellation policy after you are accepted into our program. You will have time to review, understand, and agree to the policy prior to paying for the course.
