CPR/AED – Adult skills only

Fee:  $49 

 

Time:  Approximately 1.5 hours.

 

Certification Period:  2 years

 

Testing:  Skills testing required.  No written test.

Knowing high quality CPR training saves lives and this survival depends on someone nearby who knows how to perform it well. CPR/AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) is a great choice for both the community and workplace setting. This CPR course will help you master CPR and AED skills and give you the confidence needed to respond to and assist an adult who is in cardiac arrest or is choking.  There are no medical experience or pre-course requirements.  

 

Intended for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire to learn the skills of CPR/AED. Students will be assessed and tested on high quality CPR skills and receive a CPR certification card after successful completion of class. Great for teachers, parents, response teams in business and industry, group leaders, students, and more!

Can be combined with First Aid for additional $10 (see First Aid description below).

CPR/AED Adult/Child/Infant skills

Fee:  $55

 

Time:  Approximately 2 hours.

 

Certification Period:  2 years

 

Testing:  Skills testing required.  No written test.

In this course, students will be assessed and tested on high quality Adult/Infant, and Child CPR skills and receive a CPR certification card after successful completion of class. Great for teachers, parents, response teams in business and industry, group leaders, students, and more!

First Aid

Fee:  $49

Time:  Approximately 2 hours.

This First Aid course is designed for anyone who either requires a First Aid Certification card for work or professional requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.  After course completion, the student will have the skills and confidence to manage medical emergencies until Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrive.  Includes choking, stroke, heart attack, environmental emergencies, external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, burns, and many more topics. There are no medical experience or pre-course requirements.

This training class is Intended for anyone in the community.  Great for teachers, parents, response teams in business and industry, group leaders, students, and more!

Can be combined with adult CPR/AED or adult/child/infant CPR/AED for additional $10 (see CPR/AED class descriptions above).

Pediatric CPR/AED + First Aid

​Fee:  $65

​

Time:  Approximately 3.5 hours (add 1/2 hour for optional adult CPR add on).

 

Certification Period:  2 years

 

Testing:  Skills testing required. No written test.

This Pediatric CPR/AED + First Aid training course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers in Idaho.  It teaches child care providers and others to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.  This class includes CPR and AED use for Children and Infants.

This certification class is intended for child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, coaches for children’s sports organization, others responsible for children including parents, grandparents, babysitters, and guardians. Students will be assessed and tested on high quality Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid skills and receive a certification card after successful completion of class.  Adult CPR/AED can be chosen as an "add-on" option during registration for no additional charge.

Family and Friends CPR/AED

Fee:  $25 (Includes student workbook)

 

Time:  Approximately 1.5 hours.

 

Certification: Does not include a course certification card, however students receive a participation card with their student manual.

 

Testing:  No testing required.

The Family & Friends CPR training class teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and mild and severe airway block for adults, children, and infants.

 

Intended for individuals who want to learn CPR but do not need a CPR course certification card to meet a job requirement. This course is ideal for community groups, new parents, grandparents, babysitters, and others interested in learning how to save a life.
